The animation is a public service announcement (PSA) created in collaboration with Securing Antarctica’s Environmental Future (SAEF), an Antarctic research program funded by the Australian Research Council as a Special Research Initiative.

Concept

By starting with serene landscapes and the natural beauty of Antarctica, the story gradually shifts to reveal the devastating impact of climate change on Emperor penguins and, ultimately, on human communities across the globe. The future-oriented perspective reinforces the message that the actions we take today will determine the fate of both the Antarctic ecosystem and human society.
