Hello everyone, I’m Zoe,
a multimedia designer living in Melbourne.
My journey in the creative field has been dynamic and transformative, shaped by both my professional experiences and personal passions.
My career began in digital marketing during college, where I was particularly drawn to helping brands convey their value, especially in the cultural tourism sector. Traveling has always been a passion of mine, so working in an industry that combined exploration with my professional skills was incredibly fulfilling. However, the pandemic drastically changed the tourism industry, leaving me at a crossroads. This challenge led me to pivot towards content creation and digital design, where I began exploring new ways to express creativity.
As I delved deeper into these roles, I realized that while they enriched my technical skills, they didn’t align with my deeper mission, vision, and values. This led me to question my purpose—was I simply creating for output, or was there something more meaningful to achieve?
This introspection led me to pursue a master’s degree in multimedia design at Monash University, aligning my skills with my values. During my studies, I gained confidence in expressing my creative work more flexibly and authentically, with a focus on environmental sustainability issues. I also honed my skills through various multimedia projects.
As I approach the completion of my master’s degree this December, I’m eager to continue exploring, learning, and creating meaningful works that resonate with people and reflect the complexities of our world. My goal is to find my unique style and use it to create impactful work that bridges connections between people, ideas, and cultures.
